Still time
This was shown as a video installation in a tube station. The video shows a watch on a spiral that rocks back and forth in escalating and descending speed. Through the use of double exposure, the time will be perceived as partly frozen and partly displaced or disoriented. The work has references to hypnosis, rush hours, nausea, balance/unbalance and the idea of time as something unstable.
